Bugs in Structured PvP and PvE:

Ranger:
Stowing your pet is no longer usable. Button is there, nothing happens.
Also, if you spectate a Ranger in a game, your client crashes.

Fix is needed.

You’d probably be better off posting this in the Bug subforum otherwise people will just discuss the update in general. Those responsible for fixing bugs are unlikely to look in this section or at a thread of this title. Not trying to be mean, just trying to help.

Since 9th of august patch, ranger pets can no longer be stowed.
Alongside this, the CA is still bugged when one clicks on the button instead of pressing a key to activate it. (since 26th of june).
Please fix our class :’(

Yep, same here.

This is what happens when you give pets permanent names. That level of self identity leads to rebellion and a general refusal to listen. When the pigs start walking on two legs, we’ll know it’s time to leave the farm.

But more directly to the point, yea, this should be a bug report.

I am also experiencing the ranger pet issue.

I have the same problem. Also I attempted to spectate a ranger in a PvP room and GW2 crashed. I was unsure why I crashed until I came back and spectated the same ranger in the same room and crashed again.

Today I went into a PvP King of the Hill room and tried to spectate a ranger. My game instantly crashed and I was unsure why I crashed, until I came back into the game, into the same room, and spectated the same ranger, and crashed again.

EDIT: After further testing, the crash occurs when spectating any ranger, on red or blue team. At first I thought it might be when spectating someone on red team, but its only ranger and it can occur when they are on red or blue team.

EDIT #2: We also had the idea that it may just be the PvP room that was bugged. We reset the room and the bug still occurred.

P.S. I CAN’T STOW MY PET FAM WHAT’S THE DEAL HERE WITH MESSING UP RANGERS???

Same here…no go on the pet stow.

It is a new feature: now you need to buy a Poké Ball to stow your pets.

However, same problem here

I’m experiencing the same issues. Can’t stow pet and crashing when spectating ranger.

Can no longer stow my pet, can click as often as I want, it will not stow it.
Both in LA as well as WvW, cannot stow pet.

Please fix.

I’m sure this has been reported already, but Rangers cannot put the pet away – however, it can be changed. Since most recent update.

If it wasn’t bad enough that Rangers…

…HAVE TO CLICK ON the Stow/Activate BUTTON for pets, BECAUSE for 4 YEARS ANET has NOT SEENT IT FIT to ADD a HOTKEY OPTION for STOW/ACTIVATE PET…

… but now CLICKING does NOT even WORK!

While you’re busy, hopefully, HOT FIXING this, how about giving us what we’ve been deprived of for 4 YEARS - A Stow/Activate Pet HOT KEY OPTION, PLEASE!
