Guild Wars 2

I thought the following might be a bug in the new content,
when i start the Candidate Trial instance, and start the event as usual, everything is working fine,

then i pick up a flamethrower and start using it, and i notice whatever i do i cant create a clone, is it supposed to be like this or is this actually a bug in the instance?

i have clones on dodge and using mirror images makes you see that the clones are not created.

Bump, no1 want to reply on this…., all i want is an answer,is it supposed to like this or not, easy question according to me.
Is the Flamethrower in the Candidate Trial supposed to give Mesmer no clones?
