Observed Behavior: After using the Blink ability while character was moving caused the character to move while standing still holding the weapon.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Log into a Mesmer Character that has a greatsword equiped.
2. Make Sure the Character has the ability Blink.
3. Start holding down the W Key to move foward.
4. Activate the blink ability ahead of the character while still holding the W Key.
5. Observe that Character stands still after teleport in a battle stance while it is moving around the map.

Happens with any weapon, not just greatsword, and on auto-run as well. Known issue, and I believe its listed in the mesmer bugs forum.

Eh, don’t sweat it. Hard to be aware of all the potential discussions.

Personally, I think of this as the “Silver Surfer feature” — I get to glide around until the next time I use a skill, dodge, etc. I wouldn’t mind if they fix it, but I’m pleased that they haven’t. Yet.

It also happens with any other targeted instant teleport type skill – not just mesmer ones.

I start surfing about on my elementalist all the time after a Lightning Flash

Edit: It’s apparently not just (ground) targeted teleport skills – I just got it on my guardian using Judge’s Intervention.
