For instance, if i am aiming my spacial surge at the door on a keep, theres some invisible AOE that will hit all stationary objects such as siege.

If i stand directly in front of the door and shoot it, it will also hit the oil and any siege behind the door.

If i attack the door whilst standing near the left front of the keep, i will damage any seige on the left side of the keep, same on the right.

If there is any seige on a destructible wall, i just strafe back and forth along the wall, while shooting it, and it will damage any seige near said wall.

Bug or intended?

A similar effect can be seen when you test any beam attack against the Lion’s Arch practice dummies. Quite sure it’s a bug.

Despite being a mesmer myself, I feel like a nerf (or a “fix”) is in order.. Being able to do so much siege with just my autoattack makes me look like im cheating.. :/

You should really try it out in CoF path 1.. Im able to hit the searing effigy and a whole lot of crystals around him with my laser. O_O I guess it’s compensation for the Time warp nerf?

Well they changed it now so that our auto for the gs pierces to 2 targets, 3 if we’re in LoS. And it’s the closest thing we have to siege destroying every since the LoS nerf on mesmers. We don’t have any other way to destroy siege or should I say no ways besides building anti siege.
