I play the game on low settings, and till yesterday my female Mesmer clones/illusions looked just like my character. Now they look like ugly men in strange clothes.

When I put my graphics settings up my clones return to how they should look. Is this WAI?

Turn up graphics settings? Buy New Computer/Hardware?…….

I’m using a laptop, which whilst it can run for very short periods on a slightly higher setting, will overheat if left there for more than a few minutes.

I’d love to buy a new computer, but being disabled and having very limited funds means that is not an option.

I just want my female clones back! lol

Try changing the WvW settings in the options menu to higher res ones. I had a similar problem and it solved it. This post gave me the clue.
