Hi all!! a question…When the mesmer becomes invisible the foe should lose the target or not? because i tested both with a ranger and with elementalist the continue to hit me…

As far as I know, they should lose the target…when the invisibility works. I have successfully lost enemies that way.

My problem tends to be that I don’t get the 3sec of invisibility from something like Decoy all the time. I have not been able to pin down whether I’m caught in some AoE, it is an effect of a condition, or it is just a bug.

Decoy only works about 1/3rd the time for me. Maybe if you were already getting hit or had a condition on you, the damage removes the stealth immediately? That’s my guess anyways, but kind of limits the usefulness of the skill to begin with.

That was what I thought at first, too, but a couple times I had no conditions and don’t think I was hit. I need to do more testing. When it works, though, it is great.

yes sometime invisibility disappear as soon as i use it but rarely happens, the problem is the damage that I keep on taking…

I tried this with my friend also -when on random arena’s PvP get your foes from a party -otherwise the invisibility for Mesmers, Thiefs, etc. doesn’t work. ;]
