This thread is discussing the bug wherein you get locked and can’t move after a blink.

Oh, I apologize for my mistake, I must have misread it then, hehe. Anyhow, I’m not so misplaced, I also have experienced that issue a few times.

Recently I have really experienced this issue. During Taidha event, after “trying” to pick up a powder keg during the stage before last I got stuck in place (I believe I did a ingame report). I couldn’t move to anywhere, only jump and turn around. Teleporting skills as Illusionary leap and such didn’t work. Due the heat of battle no one were able to give me a help (I even asked for any mesmers to use portals). Later then, when last stage of event was going on, a friend told me to use an emote. I used /sit and it did the trick, but I did it too late to give a single shoot and I ended missing the chest at the end.

This is continually happening to me also. When I use staff scepter/torch I always get stuck. No movement or command will get me out. Blinking, jumping, swapping weapons etc and nothing works. I can wp and still be stuck and it always happens during fights. The only way I can get out is to get knocked down or to wp to another BL. Super irritating!

This still happens to me every day in PvP. Playing Scepter,Torch, Staff Mesmer. The only thing that unstucks me is enemy CC or getting downed :-/ Any solution yet?

i would also like to add this also happens to me when i dodge sometimes

This is a global issue happening to all classes. We are investigating this issue and will get a fix in ASAP.

Reports indicate this can happen after leap skills, picking up bundles, or teleporting. If any more reproducible steps come in please add it to this thread and I’ll add it to my report.

On Elementalist, I’m rooted 50% of the time when I use Lighting Flash to teleport. First noticed this in 2013 in WvW.
