I bought the Midnight Fire Dye because the picture was pitch black and I expected a nice dark black color for my armor, sadly the dye turned up to be a brown… The bug should be patched soon, it throws a lot of people off and the price was up for the dye. A refund would be nice<3 it was 1gold and 73 silver…

Did you know that you can right click and preview a dye before you buy it? Should help with this problem.

Not in the trading post, -_- preview is broken. As well as do you preview every item that you know is better than your previous? A pitch black dye would be fantastic in GW2.

I was in chat the other night and noticed that someone was selling this dye as “black” and on my screen I could CLEARLY see it looked like a very dark red or red brown. Don’t know if this was a graphics issue or not, but I was surprised at the number of people who looked at the tool tip in chat and agreed it was black.
