It would seem that Mini Liadri the Concealing Dark is no longer visible to other players, possibly after today’s patch. My wife noticed it tonight as we hung around Lions Arch. She couldn’t see it, but it was there for me. Asking around, no one else could see it either. Any other mini I used was fine.

Update: Seems to show up in outer zones, so maybe its just something in LA.

Since you were in LA when it was not visible to your wife, it may be due to her graphic settings regarding “Effect LOD” or the “Character Model Limit” and “Character Model Detail” sliders. It’s possible that these settings are affecting visibility of just the Liadri mini due to her black smoky effects.

People unable to see Liadri may need to turn their “Character Model” sliders up more in order for her to be visible, especially in LA where there are so many people to render that I expect players are given visual priority over minis.

However, if her “Effect LOD” is unchecked and the two “Character Model” sliders are at maximum, and your Liadri is still not visible to her, then it probably is an actual bug related to that specific mini displaying in LA and not related to those settings limiting character models/graphics.
