Gained last (16th, diving) achievement, haven`t received the mini zephyr pet thing.
(actually got 17 achievements done)

16 achievements gifts a quartz node. I believe the model is rewarded from the completion of a different, single achievement (perhaps finding all the crystals, I’m sorry I’m not sure).

it’s not a pet thing, it’s just a completely useless item that spawns in front of you if you use it, and if you interact with it, the cinematic will start that you saw when you arrived at the big air ship for the first time. Don’t worry, you miss absolutely nothing.

True, someone in game showed me other day, just like the book from, erm…the last temporary events.
Trawled internot & found out need a mass of crystals in new zone, will give it a miss
Curious though, clicked something when got the 16th that appeared in bags, not a clue what it was though.

That was the Gift of Quartz. It lets you mine quartz in your home instance. Quartz is used to craft celestial gear … assuming you have the recipe sheets to unlock each item.
