You sure you took it out from the Pick Up tab in the TP and not just took out hings deom your transactions? Did you use “deposit collectables” after taking the Mini and it is now in the collectable tab in you bank?

I hadn’t even seen that there was a collectible tab for minis until mine disappeared from my inventory and I went looking for them.
