This was an old bug that seemed to have been fixed, but after the latest update it has come back.
It mostly occurs to me in WvW. When the minimap is zoomed in and I drag the map with my mouse to view other areas, the minimap automatically pans to character once I release my mouse button instead of staying at the location and panning back after a set time.
This has happened to me too, usually in dungeons. After a party wipe and I have to go to a distant WP. Any fix for it besides relogging?
