Minions suddenly die moving between areas
This is a major issue for MM builds… it means I can’t run across any map with out suddenly being screwed cause no minion army any more. I have confirmed with a few minion master guildies, that this happens to everyone. I can confirm it happens across boundaries that level changes in reduced level zones. I believe this may be related to the fix for the exploit / creative use of the flesh of the master trait…. but minions already are almost useless… this takes the straw. With AI that lets them stand around doing nothing cause they don’t feel like helping, and random behavior with an amazing lack of any control, to have them just evaporate now is more frustrating than ever. ANet, please fix ASAP!!

Yeah look, sorry still salty cause I loved running minion master in WvW roaming. Ever since the April feature patch their AI seems to have been lobotomized and this bug just takes the cake after everything else they did to necromancers in this feature patch.

I can confirm the minion despawn. It happens in more areas then level cap changes.
Ive had it happen in 2 different locations in the cave entrance near agent KAukiri in lornar pass. Entering the cave they despawn at one point, Exiting the cave is a different point. Elsewhere in Lornar pass I had another despawn.
As long as you don’t use that trait “Flesh of the Master” that they messed up. Then your minions don’t die.
When this started happening I started panicking. I am kittened. FIX IT ARENANET

I have this problem too when I put that Flesh of the Master Trait too…. AND … Everytime I level my minions disappear too.

Ya, would at least be nice to know that ANet has seen this bug. Wish they had a list okittennowledged or under investigation bugs. If I knew there was a list of defects being worked on (even if this was 100+ on the list) it would at least give us a sense of being heard. As it stands right now I cannot help but wonder if this defect has been lost like a needle in a haystack.
Yea, after some great patch had the same problem. My Necro was the first character I made, and he sure is a nice character to play with as Minion Master. So it is said the bug appeared 9th September, having to do with the Flesh of the Master Trait Exploit Fix. Hey what…Exploit…huuu yea right, exploit. ;D
So from 9th september to today it didn´t get fixed, I suppose it will be a long time for that bug to get fixed.
Most dissappointing thing about this bug is that in NOT ONE forum topic about this bug, there is NO, I mean NOT one of arenanet, telling us anything like: yes we now of the problem, we´ll get it fixed soon.
Nothing till now…now that is a problem…this bug is a Major Annoyance for a minion master…and please people I don´t want to have someone say to disable this trait, I want it, and thats it…i really put some coin into GW2, and sure there are a lot of bugs to get squished, but please arenanet, fix this major Necro bug.

I’ve come bearing happy news: This is fixed! I had a chat with one of our QA team just now and she informs me that you and your minions can travel around at will. Your squishy friends will no longer keel over from the shock of the level change.
Yeah just verified this one’s taken care of now. Still the same bug for Mesmers with Harmonious Mantras though losing charges when changing levels. Thought they’d be fixed at the same time but at least we got one fixed.

Really awesome to hear this is fixed! By any chance, could you also check on the human idle animations bug should the opportunity present itself? Pretty please!

Please fix that, too. It seems it is caused by the same or a similar thing.

They do not have fixed the bug. If you have trait Flesh of the Master when you pass in the ruined state of the pets disappear.

That’s a (slightly) different issue, and I’ll have it looked into.
The bug is still not fixed. Maybe you forgot about it?
