As the title said.
On a Charr Ranger, using the sword, dodging doesn’t work(properly) when autoattacking with Skill 1.
I’ve tested this both with and without the autoattack turned on. The ranger’s evasions skills work properly after the current skill you’re on in the skill chain. Serpent Strike can be used anywhere, and is usable immediately after the current skill in the chain you’re on.
Dodges on the other hand aren’t reacted to at all, and you can’t dodge or move until after the third attack in the chain. Testing without autoattack, dodges work properly and allow you to do so in the middle of a chain.
Minor, yes, but aggravating if you’re playing a dodge-focused ranger and you don’t want to hammer the 1 key all the time.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Turn autoattack off on Skill 1.
2. Use Skill 1 twice, executing the second skill in the chain, while attacking a target.
3. Dodge in the middle of the second skill. The dodge is completed after the second skill successfully. This is the proper behavior.
4. Turn autoattack on on Skill 1.
5. Attack a target.
6. Attempt to repeatedly dodge during the second and third skill activations.
7. Dodge will not execute throughout the second and third skill activations. It will only activate after the third activation, and it does not seem to be queued.
If it matters, this was tested with a Sword/Dagger combo specifically, on a male Charr ranger. Around level 7.
