I have a problem with the egg of winds not dropping from the keeper of winds. I killed the keeper about 40 times already and still haven’t received it. I fear I got it just when HoT came out and deleted it along the way somewhere. Since this is not actually a collectible but an ingredient for a collectible, I fear it’s designed to only drop once per account as it was with some collectibles before and this only got fixed for collectibles only.

It doesn’t appear to be a once-only drop. Sometimes, RNG seems cruel.

FWIW, I got this on my first kill for it, so IDK, but it’s definitely dropping in some cases.

Some of the RNG drops I got with first kill; some took 50+ (or more?). Except I thought Egg of Wings was guaranteed…

If it is, you might only get one bite at the, um, apple, for the drop. I’d start a support ticket while you try a couple of things:

• Talk to the legendary crafting dude in LA to see if he can find you a copy.
• Double check that you have the recipe for Egg in the Clouds — that’s what you need for the collection; the ‘windy egg’ is just the crafting material you need to cook it up.
• For that matter, check that you haven’t gotten credit for that in the collection
• You can also create an API key, then use GW2 Efficiency or similar site to search for the Egg of Winds, just in case it’s hiding in a ‘closed’ bag on some alt toon of yours.

I’m sure you’ve checked some of this stuff already, so I’m hoping that by going back over it, you’re reminded of something else that might be helpful. Worst case, support should be able to help you get past this obstacle.
