Today when I logged in I found a gloves skin from the achievement chest, thing is that the preview showed it only for heavy armor, since I didn’t know what to choose and I only have a warrior using heavy armor I resigned on choosing radiant then seeing later.

To my shock & surprise when I opened the gloves I saw that they gave the skins for light and medium as well!!!

The previewing of the gloves being for heavy armor only is definitely a bug. I was misguided in the wrong choice and would like them replaced with the hellfire gloves now, Will ANet help me please!?

same here i wanted the radiant and ended up going with hellfire because of the preview. i have sent a support ticket but will have to wait and see

Same issue here. First choice would be hellfire for my elementalist. I thought that wouldn’t work and “settled” for radiant for my guard instead.

Like you I’ve submitted a ticket and will wait and see.

I notice you can get a second round of vambraces from the achievement point chests, but that won’t happen until 12k points and I’m a LONG way from that.

Don’t speak for ANet unless you’re on their payroll, let them sort it out as we know they will.

i got a reply from them telling me they will and can not change the hellfire gloves to radiant even though i was mislead by the preview. which i call bs they can change it pretty easily. and considering if the info card was correct there would not be a problem.

I got the same response. I suspect they don’t want to open up the floodgates for “I clicked on x by accident” type requests… :S

There isn’t any long term consequences to these choices. You’ll get the other one at 12k AP. That is at most 9k AP away.
