This is just one that I noticed but chances are that there could be more. With laurels being used to purchase ascended items, this will be a big deal for a lot of people. This is especially true for achievements that can only be done during special events.

In the screenshot I don’t have the pumpkin carving achievement completed which I know that I did. You’ll also notice that I have the Master Carver title which you could only get by carving 150 pumpkins.

The last update included a fix for a game-breaking bug for some players. Unintentionally, this also resulted in lots of players losing 1-2 points of progress on previously completed achievements. ANet is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. (There are many other posts about the topic.)

For Carver, as you noticed, it’s strictly cosmetic — you can still display the title.

I am also missing my pumpkin carving achievement which is leaving an ugly splotch on my otherwise maxed out event section.
