Guild Wars 2

So, twice in two days I’ve run into an issue with missing audio from cutscenes. Now I’ve searched and searched and there appears to be no answer that I can see. I’m doing my personal story on a Norn Female Ranger. At the end of the Battle of Fort Trinity, the first cutscene had no audio. The second cutscene had no audio as my character was “talking” to the Marshall. I moved on to another part of my personal story this morning, to the Sacred Tombs for the Clensing Ritual (The mission right after the Battle of Fort Trinity). That had all the audio. Now I’m doing the “Get the Enchanted Map” mission and right at the get go, I had no audio at all in the cutscene. Just my character and the Ghost Norn going through a staring contest while the subtitles were going on above their heads.

I’m using a headset with with Stereo output (it’s a cheap set but it works for what I need it to do). I also use an Alienware 18 Laptop if that has any bearing on things.

Playing together wiht my SO doing storylines we can confrim the missing audio as well. We can’t pintpoint anything that might be causing at, as is happen on both the PC and laptop at the same time. Bugs with the subtittles as well, although we just didn’t have any subtitles, alse at random scenes but on both PC and laptop at the same time.
