In the Plains of Ashford near the Ashford Waypoint and near the Greysteel Armory Waypoint both skill challenges are bugged. The NPC that fights you isn’t currently showing up. In the case of the Ashford Waypoint, the NPC is named Centurion Mika Thickblood and if you stand where he is supposed to be standing you can hear him taunting people in the area. But he is not visible.

Is there no way to just put an hourly reset on these NPCs? Even if somebody, at the time of the reset has to start over the fight that is better than never getting to fight them at all.

Ol’ Stinky’s NPC is missing in Kessex Hills. I’m 98% finished with the map, just need the skill point to get my chest. Many people have been distressed to find that he’s gone, so a quick fix would be great.

Lornar’s Pass:
False Lake and Stonescatter Wash – both of the skill challenge NPCs in these two areas do not show up. In the former, the dynamic event does show, but the NPC does not.

Klakka the Brainy Pirate is missing from just south of the Brigantine Isles in the Gendarran Fields zone. The NPC for the skill point in the Vigilant Hills and Keep of the same zone is also missing.

I have also noted the absence of the NPC for the skill point in the Tela Range of the Plains of Ashford.

Yes especially if you are trying to get world completion, i have been waiting a week, still no fix :\ it’s frustrating.

In the Cursed Shore the skill point located at Caer Shadowfain has been bugged for days. I would suggest you continue to do daily server restarts to fix these issues. This may not seem like a very pressing matter but when it’s the last thing you need for 100% completion it is very frustrating. Please prioritize this higher.

They REALLY need to implement a mechanism that either resets inactive skill challenge NPCs or some NPC/item that you can interact to manually reset them. This is a huge issue for anyone trying to get world completion.

Is itpossible to just restart the server? To tempoary solve the problem? Because the npc doesn’t spawn. The Skill point NPC at Shire of Beetletun is missing, So is the one at Windloss Delves, the npc Chhk The Windmill King is missing too.

And they are all in the server crystal desert

Gearclaw is missing north of smokestead.. had to look it up bc the NPC is missing.

This seems to be a disease spreading across tyria… npcs for skill points going AWOL. I assume they’re all at the crow’s nest inn in lions arch laughing at us.. or they’re picketing and want better wages.

Could we please get some official word on how this problem is seen internally? Game status doesn’t mention it, but from the outside it looks like there’s some unique underlying bug that is causing all or at least a lot of skill challenge NPCs to disappear at some point after server reset.

Knowing something more would be helpful to keep frustration in check. Also, if you guys already know the cause and are working on a solution, it doesn’t make sense for us to keep posting details like lemmings.

This isn’t some secondary aesthetic glitch, this is impacting gameplay in a major way, and personally taking fun away from completing areas, since the probability of ending up with yet another 99% zone is very high at this point.

So high, in fact, that sadly a 100% working zone is the exception and not the rule.
