The vista in Diessa is NOT activated by talking to the mad scientist. It is activated by clicking the catapult when he runs out of cows. He will order his assistant to get more, and it is then that you can click the catapult lever.

Now I don’t know if the catapult lever is broken too, but it was not when I did it.

The skill point near Lake Carnifex in Iron Marches does not work. (Drakkar-Lake [DE])
There is a lonely golem, but nothing else..

people really should start using this instead of making their own thread from now on….

Same problem as Navi’s, 2 posts up. The SP NPC Sharky Longears seems to be trapped in the ground, because I can hear him, see his chat bubble and name.

Diessa Plateau – Vista that requires you to use a cannon to get there, when you talk to the NPC it says : “The content is currently unavailable please try again later”.

Just to let you know, you can just use the cannon, you don’t have to talk to the NPC. That’s how I and at least one other person I seen got up there. It’ll just teleport you to the top of the tower.

Thank you to the folks who quoted me, just read your post – I didn’t know that .. but I tried this a few days ago (just stood around and saw a F function and quickly clicked it and it worked).

Also the Straits of Hazaan (Sparkfly Fen map) skill point the sharks are appeared too (this was a couple of days ago too)

Skill Point Challenge NPC: Burrisson the Blue

The Skill Point Challenge NPC is AWOL and no where to be found. According to /map chat, this NPC has been missing for several days now and many folks are unable to get 100% completion on this zone.

UPDATE: I’ve seen Burrisson the Blue’s vicinity chat, even though he is not visible:

These bugged skill quests are getting old. If it’s people using pushback methods to try and beat them and having it result in a glitch, then they kittening things need an internal reset. Having to wait for server resets/patches has gotten old.

Skill challenge: Defeat Warmaster Yulia and Defeat Klakka the Brainy Pirate in Gendarran Fields on Gunnar´s Hold server is still broken….it´s getting really old that you are not able to complete zones over a month after release because of fail programming like this, and it´s not like it´s just a few hickups here or there, it´s in every zone! It sucks that you are forced to look for other games or things to do, because the game you bought and loved in beta, is clearly not getting the same attention after ArenaNet got our money…

If the only way to fix these problems are patching/server resets, so we have to wait for up to or even more then a week for a solution, and that coupled in with all the DE problems, makes atleast me feel like ArenaNet knew about all these problems were not an easy fix well before release, and now they just sugarcoat everything and spin the problems as islotated incidents…

Right next to the waypoint there is a tower, I’ve spoken to the NPC’s by the tower, They tell you to go down to the Mad Engineer. It seems his speech is disabled.

Mount Maelstrom: Tarkkat, Tzanopl. Event text appears for Tarkkat, but no NPC. Absolutely nothing for Tzanopl.

NPC still broken. (3+ weeks now) NPC just lays there dead. Unknown if it ever worked when server came up from update.

This one, not even 5 minutes after patch and it is broke again! Lots of players just standing there and waiting for it, only one needed for 100% map completion!

Edit: I ended up changing and atm it is working normally on Sea of Sorrows server.

This one was broken for me as well on Sunday afternoon. After the patch however, I was able to get this one completed.

The issue was found AFTER the fact? Yeah right. This kitten is bananas…

If you go on the rock, you’ll see some kind of ruined stairs that go in water. If you go down, you’ll enter a small cave with a shark that you kill to get skill point.

It was said that “the next update” would fix this back on the 8th. but then I just looked at the 11th patch note, not a word for this. what’s happening? Is this fixed yet?

Frog is STILL not fixed. We’re going on four weeks now with this thing dead.

Talabaroop Waves Skill point (Frostgorge Sound) has been missing
for about a month now on the Sanctum of Rall server. :(

The catapult for the skill challenge in the Blasted Moors is bugged on HoD. Only message is content has been temporarily disabled. It’s getting very tedious running into skill challenges that require a gimmick to complete and these gimmicks are constantly broken.
