Somehow despite this one being reported non stop going back into beta, this is the “only” one that didn’t get fixed a few days ago. Now, we all know there are others still broken as well, but this one supposedly had some other problem causing it which they did not catch in time for the recent patch, so we get to wait some more for it.

Same crap, different promised fix that is a complete joke.

Instead of promising a fix you obviously can’t deliver on, why not just freakin remove this from the game. It is quite clear you cannot fix it. It was promised for the last 2 patches and yet here stands at least 100 kitten off players looking at a corpse.

Skill point mob is dead and has been for weeks. There were at least 40 people here after server restart trying to get it. People were streaming in for minutes. This needs to be resolved.

I have been trying to get the skillpoint in the plaza of lights on the blackgate server for days now is it bugged or am I bugged and can not find it? I see no NPC or anything else to start the skillpoint activity. I have posted a bug through the game no change no response. please help.

Update update read all about it!

We’ve finally tracked down the root cause of these missing skill point NPCs and fixed it. This magical fix will be in the next patch after it goes through further testing. This fix will also address issues with missing Event NPCs, too.

We apologize for the hassle these have been, but thank you all for hanging in there while we got this issue sorted out.

Two weeks, still broken. When is this going to be resolved?

And let me clarify: By this I don’t mean the single broken skill point mentioned in the subsequent official post, I mean the many many broken events and skill points across the entire game. If you think they’re fixed, they’re not.

Location: Snowden Drifts
Server: Fergusson’s Crossing

Bug: When fighting Vilnia Shadowsong, she has a bodyguard, Noxia. Noxia is hostile and attacks of course, but she’s also buffed with determined which means we can’t hurt her as she wails on us. This may or may not be a bug, but I’m level 33, this skillpoint is level 25, and I cannot solo it. Actually, there were 2 of us trying to do it a few minutes and we couldn’t beat it working together. Not complaining, just reporting it if it is indeed a bug.

Note: An event occurs around this pair of NPC’s (Defeat the Evil Raven Shaman and her helper). You simply cannot kill Noxia. She remains “Determined” no matter what you do.

The vista in Diessa Plateau is not available. It even has a small text to it…
I wonder if we could have it back please?! We need it for world completion.

Akk wilds skillpoint NPC is not showing up.

Seen some other realms have had this one bugged as well in the same way, sat there as friendly when the event list says they’re all dead. It’s also not near where the marker on the map is.

we need updates on this. It has been bugged for 5 hours now on Ehmry Bay

The shark group is friendly and its not possible to talk to them or do anything. The event shows Brood Killed 2/3 but theres no way to kill anything. Maybe this can be fixed

The cave is empty, the event shows as if someone is fighting him but he’s nowhere to be found.

NPC: Willoo
He is stuck inside of a rock at the bottom of the lake and you can not click on him to do the skill point

Everyday lately i’ve come across a skill point NPC that is dead or not there.

Why isn’t there a system where the skill point challenges checks if the person has health, if not, it re-spawns. seems really simple.

make sure you actually are clicking the catapult and not the guy…i think that’s the misconception there alot of the time.

Magumma Been sitting around waiting for this event with the cannon dude. Nothing is happening I cant click the cannon. he isnt loading cows. Nothing is happening been like 30 minutes. I shouldnt have to do an event for a vista its a vista make it like the rest of them. Where i jump on some stuff. I cant even describe the frustration cause I don’t understand.

What possessed them to make some offshoot dumb vista like this one that doesnt fit the other vistas. Yea im raging right now.

Skill Point in Akk Wilds to do Oola’s Lab Tutorial is still unable to be activated.

Oola’s lab tutorial is impossible to obtain, there is not NPC to talk to, the whole area is crowded with people that have no clue where to get the skill point.

Sparkfly Fen, Ancient Shark Skill Challenge – npcs can’t be intiated or attacked.

Have seen this bug first reported over 2 months ago. Am currently unable to progress with story due to another bug which has been awaiting a fix for over a month (with several “promised” deadlines missed) – and am now unable to get completion here either.

I see talk of the halloween update containing the fix…. halloween has been and gone, yet the bug remains. It takes the piss, really. ANet’s promises clearly mean absolutely squat all. Utterly abysmal show…

I wonder what server you were on at the time? My first character did it on Sea of Sorrows without issue. This is the first time I have needed it since transferring to Emhry Bay over a month ago. I was curious as to whether you were from there and if it’s really been broken all this time or not?

It is, in fact, still broken on EB. There is no NPC there.

In wayfarer foothills skill point at grawlenfjord. NPC is lying down and will not fight for skill challenge.

Grawlenfjord skill point NPC is sitting down with no option for the skill point challenge. Server is Henge Of Denravi.

This is still broken. Can’t solo fairly with a LV71 guardian.
You can easily kill Vilnia from above with scepter which makes this exploitable to boot.
Noxia is an unreasonable add. Please address this.
