I’m making this post and merging threads into it. All of the separate threads talk about missing something after today’s outage(s). Things you should know:
One player expressed his opinion that it can take a while for the UI to catch up with the game content after an outage. He suggested waiting a bit before worrying about something that appears to be missing. I agree!
If you continue to have something missing after waiting at least an hour after uninterrupted game access, please contact Customer Support for assistance.

As per title.
1st transaction – exchanged gold for 150 gems – received no gems
2nd transaction – exchanged gold for 100 gems – received no gems.
Happened today. Can you help please?
One thing you can try is to delete all mail and pick up all Gold and items waiting in the TP queue.
You can try logging out completely, and logging back in.
You can try clearing your GW2 cache (instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link and ‘Search – Troubleshoot Trading Post’).
You can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.

Did anyone else lose items after the crazy lag we had today? I transferred some items from one character to another using the bank once i was finally able to get back on but now the items in question randomly disappeared after attempting to take it out of the bank again. I lost 20 petrified wood and they aren’t on any of my characters now.
You can wait awhile, and see if they re-appear. You can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link and ask for assistance.

im missing a whole 3-5 gems, resulting my total gems down to 0. but theres a lot of other people in game that has been saying they lost thousands of gems
can anet look into this? can also other people in this thread confirm that they lost gems and have 0 gems in their account?
its been happening to a lot of other people in the game too. we’ll just have to wait for anet to respond
UPDATE: i would go check your gems again to see if they have come back
Update: i got my 4 gems back. if people did lose gems. i would go check to see if you got your same amount of gems back into your account

Yes lost my 2450 gems n still says 0. Better get em back!
Still missing all of my gems and I see that other people have gotten them back could they not look into this please so that way we can make sure to get our gems back
I think I lost just 350-450 Gems, but still missing after an exit and restart. Hope fixed soon.

Just logged in and am missing all 500 gems I had.
EDIT: Didn’t take very long for them to be returned. Glad everything’s working as intended now ^^

I just bought 4000 gems yesterday. I used some, but now I have none. They had better come back soon.
i just checked again. im back down to 0 gems
im guessing the game can’t connect to our gem stash due to irregular server stability atm
And now my gems are back. I have no idea what caused them to come back though.
yeah, missing my gem was going to use some gem today and its gone down to 0! Anet better do something about this!
Ok good news I got mine back so I hope everyone else will too. Keep checking!

As you can see in later posts in this thread, items, gems, gold, titles — anything that was missing — reappeared after a relatively short while. We’re sorry for the connectivity issues, and for the startling effect of seeing something is missing, but we’re happy that everything synchs up and you get what you should have. It can take 72 hours for a response during non-peak periods. Given the DDoS attack last night, it might take longer. If you haven’t heard after 72, post a brief note along with your ticket number in the thread designed for the purpose:

(Given the extraordinary situation these last 12 hours, ANet might take a look based on a comment here, but I wouldn’t count on it. The “Tickets for Review” thread is a reliable method to make sure your ticket gets attention.)
PS make sure that you got your automated response that a ticket was created. If you didn’t, it’s possible your email provider is treating responses from ANet/zendesk system as ‘spam’.

This is accurate and helpful information. I will not be culling requests for individual assistance from this thread. Requests need to be made through the ticket system, and followed up through the thread the Illconceived Was Na linked. Thanks.
Only thing I noticed missing so far was two Infusions when I was transferring them to another character and swapping back and forth when the servers were being wonky. No idea what happened to them. A 7 and an 8 I think, but not 100% sure.
Well I lost my quest killing the Dragon Zheitan, I was finishing the fight against it when the server went haywire and now I find myself all the way at the beginning of the same event, I submitted a ticket and was told nothing could be done about completing this event, so I am at fault that the server decided to go crazy and now I have to redo the whole thing
