Guild Wars 2

I am working on the Kudzu vol 3 collection and cow pies are not showing up in the areas of the game that wiki shows they should be available. Queensdale and Diessa Plateau both have none I’ve walked around every area in both zones that have cows and there are no cow pies showing up anywhere. I had a few friends check as well and the areas that used to be full of them all over the ground are now clear. I noticed that a new patch came out a few days ago and the description of the patch is

Fixed a bug with the vendor value of Cow Pies.

I think something in this patch removed them from the game completely. This is the last item I need to get in order to continue and finish off this legendary weapon. Seems kind of ridiculous that a pile of crap not being in the game would stop me from getting a legendary weapon.

I logged a ticket a couple of days ago and other then the automated response I’ve heard nothing back on this issue. Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

I to have been searching non-stop for these pies in the areas specified and from people who have been trying to help me. There are no cow pies, zip, zilch, nadda. They did something they weren’t suppose to, by accident. It’s also the only thing I have left for this.

Found this thread after a friend reported having trouble finding any. Looks like you are correct, must be a bug that makes it so they do not appear. My friend even found the texture of the Cow Pie on the ground, but no cow pie :/

I guess just report and hope for a quick fix!

I sent in a ticket 3 days ago so far nothing but an automated response. It would be great if someone replied just to say they are working on it. Sorry that others are effected as well but in a way it’s good to know I’m not alone.

I am having the same issue. Tried different characters, other accounts, reinstalled 32 and 64 bit versions, changed languages. Super frustrating as I bought some gems to finish up the elder longbows faster since I thought I was so close. Submitted a ticket a few days ago as well.

I’m also glad that I’m not the only one having this issue. I did send in a ticket and the response I got was…
“Thanks for contacting us. Cow pies are available at any point in time in those 2 locations. It’s part of the difficulty of the game to locate them. Hope this clears things up.

This reply u got back doesn’t actually make it sound like they believe any of us that they have been removed from the game so if anything. this concerns me more that they aren’t even looking it.

Can you provide a screen shot of the dev’s response. This is really not an acceptable response. This isn’t a difficulty issue, we all know the spawn locations of them in Queensdale and Diessa Plateau. If we have made it this far in our progression towards a legendary we are veteran enough to know what we are doing. Hell we could all probably pin point the exact spawn points of them (as they are visible on the ground).

Such a reply insults our game knowledge and our commitment to completing the collection. I myself have spend around 8-10 hours camping out these three spawn points since Monday , if that isn’t difficulty I do not know what Anet expects from me.

If I receive a similar reply I will use a more public forum to bring light to this issue, I encourage you to do the same. Post on reddit, or the GD forums, raise hell about the reply as we are not QQing that we went there once and didn’t find it sitting there.

I have been working on this bow for 2 years, ever since I saw it. My ranger’s wardrobe is built around this bow and it is my main goal currently.

I will not stand by will a literal pile of bull **** come between me and that bow.

I’ve been looking for that Cow pie for three days now with multiple characters in Diessa and Queensdale, no luck. The cow pie is the only thing missing from my Kudzu III.

Well, you got the automated response because you started a new ticket. Next time just update your original ticket with the info you wanted to share.

Thank you very much for bringing this bug to our attention. I have looked into this some and I don’t see this on our Known Issue Tracker. With that said, I would love to have some more evidence that I can use to further investigate. Would you be able to show me where the Cow Pies are supposed to be and how they are not properly spawning? Once you do, please attach them to your next response. I look forward to your response. ?

I just got a response to my ticket and the GM I spoke with, saw that the cow pies are indeed missing. They filed a bug report and the developers will start working on a fix. So fingers crossed the issue should be resolved sometime in the near future.

How long is this going to take for them to fix the issue? It’s holding me back. How hard is it to go out and look that there is no cow pies and just fix it. Has anyone seen any since this thread started?

They fixed it! I got my cow pie just now at Dawnright Estate Waypoint. Go get your poop!!
