Hmm yea it was in the bank but I didn’t put it there ty for what its worth
If you happened to double-click the Salvage-O-Matic while you had the bank window open, it will transfer it (and/or any other item) to the bank.
Thus, you likely ‘put it there’ without noticing. Just make sure to never double-click from the bank window. =)

It’s a fairly common mistake, even by folks such as myself who are aware of just how easy it is to do. I think I accidentally double-click one or more items from shared inventory into the bank about 3x/month.
