Guild Wars 2

Just patched and logged in. Before patch I had over 1900 achievement points, now sitting at 1439. I noticed a lot of guild members missing achievement points as well. It looks like all the cumulative daily achievement points have been erased. I usually do not care about stuff like this being a function over form player, but I was happy I was getting close to 2k.

I had very close to 3k achievement points, now i only have about 1.6k. I have no explanation whatsoever for what happened.

Same thing for me. Went from over 2k (don’t remember exact number) to ~1700

i still can see the original amount of points on the log in screen it is 1989. but in the hero panel it dropped to 1541

I just used a calculator to add up the achievement points listed in each one of my tabs and it comes to 2039…. So the addition is wrong, for one. 2039 is not 1681 (which it says I have) … and that is not including any of the daily points, monthly points, the salvage points, the transmutation points, which you cant see on the tabs.

Yeah, I am missing ~ 500 points, too.

GW2Wiki has a footnote that this patch removed past points from the Dailies and Monthlies (and therefore hits hardest on people who get them done every day/month… like me). So I came here to ask the staff’s official word:

Is this actually a bug, or is this intentional, and daily/monthly points were meant to vanish when their achievements reset?

I was going to make my own thread asking this, but saw this right here on top and it may be better to put here.

Same issue here. I had 29xx points when I was bumped from the game as I completed a story mission for the update. Upon updating my points have been cut in half. The bulk of the points appears to have been the points from daily and monthly achievements that continue to accrue over time as you keep completing those achievements when they reset.

Lost like 1000 points on this update, went being on the top 5 on my guild, to having 30 guys with more points than me…
What the hell…!?!?

The change in number of achievement points doesn’t occur until that person logs into the game and into a character.

I know for sure past daily and monthly achievement points are missing. Not sure if anyone others are as well.

After the 16-11 patch a Lot of my daily points are gone, I had an amount of over 1500 and now it’s back to 999, I read from a lot of guys that they don’t mind but I do mind, I worked hard to get them And it’s just not cool that wenn as a patch is released my point are reset.
Why bother to come online to get my daily’s for the bloody points, if they reset them in in the next patch.

Lost about 700 pts, it pisses me off when I look at myself in Guild list from the top ones to the bottom feeders.

Also lost points.

Somewhere in the forums i read from someone of Anet, that they are aware of this issue and the guy also stated that this will be fixed.

Guess we just need to wait abit.
