For the jumping puzzle in Snowden Drifts, obviously. I went through the puzzle and defeated the veteran. The gate opened, and… the room behind the veteran is empty.

No chest, no Scholar Gina NPC.

I did at least get credit for the puzzle in the monthly list, but it’s still missing a chest and NPC that are normally there.

No chest and Scholar Gina after going up the ramp? That’s definitely a strange bug.

In my case there wasn’t even a closed door. Just the veteran standing there. Once defeated the event was completed and nothing else happened. No Gina, no chest.

No chest for me either. I showed up and there was no veteran, and the door was open. I walked up and there was no chest to be found. I stood there for a minute, and go kicked out of the room to where the vat is. The veteran appeared and the door was closed. So i killed him and walked back up again, still no chest.

I’m in there now and they’re both missing for me too. The veteran seemed a bit glitchy, but my game’s been a bit laggy all night for some reason.

I also did this JP the other day, veteran was there and door was closed until he died … but no chest after killing him.

No chest for me either. I must have missed the jump about 10 times. What a disappointment :/

Same for me last night on SoS, no chest or NPC.

I can confirm that there was indeed no chest given as reward and scholar Gina is missing. Seafarer’s rest server.

I’m from Whiteside RIdge, and I I had the same bug, Here’s a screenshot. I checked youtube vids covering the solution, and the chest (and Gina) should be at that exact location.

Same for me. Killed the veteran standing in front of the door, no chest. Seafarer’s Rest.

Yeha vet died, no credit for jp (monthly) or chest. Then the game crashed. Sanctum of Rall.

No chest for me either. Got credit for the monthly though. I wonder if they didn’t remove the chest until they can prevent people from short cutting the JP. — Jade Quarry

Same bug here. Killed the Vet, no chest or NPC. Jade Quarry server.

Confirmed, no NPC or chest after completion. I did get credit for the monthly, however.

yup .. happend to me and my girl too. We were looking forward to opening the chest..

Same here – did puzzle the normal way, killed veteran, gate opened, no chest or NPC.

Same here too. No chest, no NPC. After awhile I got booted out of gate and veteran spawned again. Killed veteran again and still no chest. Server: Maguuma

NPC and Chest missing on Anvil Rock server as well…

Noticed something. The vet spawns ON THE RAMP. and cannot be lured or knocked down to where he used to spawn (in the strange vat room). If you move out of his line-of-sight… the vet resets. He also cannot be knocked down the ramp by any power or ability, he hits an invisible wall.

The chest and NPC might be linked to a trigger of the vet dying in the strange vat room and the vet cannot get there. Maybe? But this all seems odd. Hope this helps.

Looks like the ramp doesn’t get identified as continuous smooth terrain you can walk (like a hill), but something you have to jump to get there (like a cliff), so you can’t push the veteran when its on it, he won’t move from there and will become immune unless you are close enough for him to hit you in melee range, and also get hit.

Same issue on the Stormbluff Isle server. I killed the veteran and the gate opened, but there’s no NPC and no chest.
