Guild Wars 2

Two issues that are really bringing me down…Any help would be appreciated.

1. Occasionally I will get gold level credit for an event and will not see the large chest. Running around spamming the action key doesn’t help, even if people point out where it is and I stand where they say. It’s happened for the past month or so and just happened again on Karka Queen.
Anyone else seeing this?

2. About every fifth or sixth day my game will bomb. It’s often when I’m in a raid (so again, I lose loot). It only happens after I’ve been in game at least 2-3 hours. The game will crash to desktop, sometimes with a GW2 box to send details to them, other times not.

I’m an avid gamer and do not have crashes with any other games. The computer in question is a pure game machine – I don’t install other software on it or do anything but play games on it. I do keep patches/drivers up to date.

It’s decent but not top end-

8GB RAM
GTX 780Ti
Creative SB X-Fi
1920×1200 screen

1 – some chests are once a day. The reset is based on the server time. You can enable the server time to show up on the mini map with a choice in options.

2 – likely crashes due to memory limit of 32 bit programs. ArenaNet isn’t likely to release a 64 bit client for some unknown reason, so the workaround is to lower the character limit and model quality to medium when doing zerg events
