Missing influence from members logged
Influence will only be obtained from members of the Guild that have chosen the same Home World as the Guild’s Home World.
Each World generates its own Influence for the Guild.
But, this will change with the September Feature Patch. You can read about it here: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/feature-packs/
Good luck.

This one I agree.

But this one I don’t understand.
I believe that each member is gaining influence for guild “shard” of his home world. And guild home world has nothing to do with it.
My problem is that one member is not generating influence for his world at all (which is guild home world btw.)
Other member (on different server) is generating influence without any problem.
This has happened to my personal guild, which is definitely on my home world. I can see influence for doing activities, but there are multiple days in a row where no influence shows for logging on.
I reported it as bug ingame with a screenshot. That’s probably the best route here OP. That way they have information that you didn’t include in your post, such as guild name, dates, server, etc..
Logging on and playing? Or just logging on? Some time ago, you could get Influence just for logging on with characters, but that changed to a certain time limit of being logged on, or a certain amount of activity…I’m not sure which it is. I suspect time. Because my JP-parked characters don’t generate any Influence, except once in awhile. Since they do nothing, really, I think it’s only when I’m logged into them for a certain amount of time. Same with my character that’s parked outside Home Instance for gathering.
But, if you can see someone on the same World as the Guild is playing a goodly amount and not generating Influence (to that World’s Guild pool), you can, indeed, contact CS.
Remember, you would only be able to see the Influence gained if the Guild member is on the same Home World as you. And, that Influence is posted on some crazy timeline. Some things seem to show up rather quickly, and others take a long time to show up. /shrug
Good luck.

For me, logging on and playing on my key runner. Which means being on at least an half hour and doing personal story. There would be several days in a row where I got influence for doing activities but no influence showing for logging on.
Yes, that is odd. I don’t really pay much attention to it, anymore. I should, I suppose. Lol.
I see X number of characters have logged on, but not which ones for my ‘Guild bank’ Guild. It’s made up of only JP-parked characters and my key runners, so….
I just don’t know what the criteria is for being able to generate influence.

I sent in a bug report back then. Perhaps they fixed it as I’m getting influence for logging on to my key runner now and for doing the occasional event at the first heart. I don’t seem to get influence for logging on to my mules, which just open a JP chest daily. Perhaps it’s amount of time logged on, the system may need to register.
The attendance-generated influence has never worked consistently.
- On any given day, you can get 10-80 influence per account. 50 seem the most likely.
- The day after getting 10-80, you can sometimes get 0.
- You only get credit for your home server. If you’ve moved recently, the logs will be …odd, at least for a bit.
- The more people in the guild, the harder it is to keep track, since the game doesn’t tell you which toons/accounts are providing the influence. (I’ve run tests with 1, 2, and 3 people logging in.)
There are things you can do to improve the likelihood of getting 50+/day (and things you can do that decrease your chances), but there’s no guarantee.
I used to make a point of logging in strategically to maximize the attendance-based influence, but then decided that I could just pay one silver to get 10i any time I felt I needed more. Much less trouble and I’ve had more fun playing since I stopped worrying about it.
