Earlier today, I decided I wanted to buy a really expensive scepter called “Abyssal Scepter” from the trading post in LA. So, I clicked on the icon, looked in the pick-up section, but it wasn’t there. I then looked in my inventory, found that it wasn’t in there either, but about 100 gold was gone from my inventory! This has happened to me once before, awhile ago, but it was with a very inexpensive staff that I decided wasn’t worth the trouble of crying about. 100 gold is a very different thing though. I’d appreciate it if this could get a response as quickly as possible. Thanks in advance!

Again, I’d really like this answered asap as I still have not received the scepter, or my money back at the Trading Post.

Did you buy instantly? Or place a custom offer? You might have placed a custom offer, the gold would dissapear from your inventory, but if nobody sold you his scepter at that price, there would be no scepter for you. The money would be just sitting in TP as offer, until it’s fullfilled or you take it out.
If not, https://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/ask/ for a ticket about it. But don’t get your hopes up, you’ll be getting nothing…

You can find your custom offers in the “My Transactions”-Tab under “Items I’m buying”.

I bought it instantly, but it left no trace of the transaction at all. If nothing else, this experience will help Anet fix the bug so no other people will lose their gold/items, but I really hope I get some compensation for this.
