I bought the digital deluxe edition upgrade in the gem store, and immediately received all of the mail items, but the Mistfire Wolf ability remained grayed out. I relogged, expecting it to be fixed but it never was. The character is my main so it’s a little annoying that this happened. The odd thing is that I created several new characters and on all of them the Mistfire Wolf ability is NOT grayed out which leads me to believe there is some authentication issue with the character I purchased the upgrade playing. The character’s name is Rustleaf on the server Maguuma and is level 40 at the moment. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Or (this is a longshot) knows of some solution? Thanks for reading.

How long has it been since you bought it? It might take a little time possibly.

They’re aware of the problem on this one. Seems most who bought the DD upgrade and had any characters already created the skill stays locked, any character you create after the upgrade was bought its unlocked. Last I heard they were still working on this one.

may its only apply to the char that you create after you bought that deluxe edition, not b4…

I also have this problem. It would be kind of ridiculous if it only applied to characters created after the purchase. I bought it on a level 73 character. I’m not going to delete and re-level a character for an elite I probably wont use. I only bought it because my OCD can’t handle having a grayed out skill like that.

This is the main reason I got it as well. It’s comforting to see other people in the same boat as me and I hope they get it fixed quickly.

same issue. also cant seem to use the rytlock mini on the same character. lvl 80 for quite some time, quite epic gear and stuff… it should unlock for all characters :/

Same issue here. Mistfire wolf did not become available after upgrading to the Digital Deluxe (on my level 70 main character). Also, as a side note, the Tome of Glory didn’t give any Glory… less of an issue, but still a bug related to the Deluxe upgrade.

I acctually got a reply to a support e-mail I sent about it that says:

“We are very sorry to hear you have been running into this issue. We are aware that there does appear to be an issue with the Mistfire wolf skill. It can’t actually be used at all right now. We have our development and QA teams hot on the case though. So we hope to see this resolved very soon. We know it can be frustrating not having access to everything you should, but we are greatful for your patience and understanding while we work on getting this fixed.

So thank you very much for your report, and we will be hard at work getting this taken care of for you."

So I’m not that worried about it anymore. They know about it and are working on it.

Oh cool I’ve been looking for an answer to this problem i have it too, i sent in a support ticket yesterday before i knew the forums were working again

the last posts I see on this were over a year ago. Anyone out there know if this has been resolved? I don’t want to purchase the upgraded version if my current char doesn’t receive the upgrades.

No problem here. Bought the upgrade during the sale a while ago. Still never going to use the skill …
