Guild Wars 2

The new achievement in the living world WvW Season One tab named “Mists Merc Camp Vanquisher” is bugged and is not giving credit for the captures. I have captured the ogres, hylek, and dredge a few times, and the achievement still lists 0.

Solo flipped a few.

Not working for me too.

Works fine I think.

Colored —> Grey = no progress (After this event you won’t see the grey icon for a while)
Grey --> Color = Progress

Even when you fail the event (other server caps it), you get progress as long as you contributed for your own server.

Maybe it match the achievement description, but I don’t think that anet intended to make this achievement the hardest one out of all the World vs. World Season 1 achievements.

Has this bug been confirmed by someone from Arenanet already (maybe in a different thread)?

It’s bugged for me as well. I keep hearing people get credit even if the event fails, I don’t even get credit when the event succeeds.

Same happens to me…no progression either way.

time this was fixed waist of time.

wvw is being won by numbers not skill so the rest of us get 3rd best not even mmmmno 2nd season for me.

Question for you all: Are you assuming you’ve flipped it by killing the frogs/ogres/dredge?

This achievement only works if these merc camps are neutral — meaning you have to go in and claim them for your server. If they are already active for an enemy server, the flip doesn’t count. But flipping the enemy’s control of the camps does make the event respawn sooner.

i have 3/50 and this is really frustrating. can someone please write full guide what is needed to be done with camp to get credit. it’s enough that this PVE bs is makin this bugged/or so hard that i cannot be done. why make wvw mixed with toxic idiocy? and why on erath on top of camps!
