Guild Wars 2

So Mistward Helm Casing cannot be obtained by killing Chak Gerent, by killing multiple Gerents, by completing the event or by anything else. I completed it like 3 times and nothing happens.

Unless this is a new issue, that is just a misleading tooltip. See note on wiki page. You need a successful map. I forget if you need to loot it from the chest or if it only comes from the onscreen meta chest after the timer counts down. I forget because there was one item that comes from the chest near the waypoint and another that comes from the onscreen chest after the countdown ends and I can’t remember which is which atm >.>

But in all cases involving an item from Chak Gerent, the Meta itself must be successful.

Solved. Got it on 6th completion of the event. Still something which could be fixed

Everyone I know that has done this, got it on the first successful completion that they stayed for the entirety of. I would suspect you may need to have credit toward the king of the jungle meta, but doing even 1 lane should easily get that. Unlike some that one did not seem to be rng. It definitely could be clarified and improved.
