Ran into an interesting bug while running the “Mightier than the Sword” personal storyline mission on my Mesmer today. Using Moa Morph on Steag Frostbeard causes Steag to drop the Sanguinary Blade prematurely in the middle of combat. When the sword drops from Steag as a result of the Moa Morph, it does not have the green mission progression star above it and nothing happens when the player picks up the sword (no cutscene…the mission does not move forward and you’re just stuck).

The only way I was able to progress forward in my personal story was to exit the mission, do it over again and run the final combat without using Moa Morph.

I can confirm that this happens. I just did this quest & used Moa Morph during battle. Once Steag died my quest progress updated to retrieve the sanguinary blade, but there is nothing to pick up/no green star on the map to indicate where to go etc.
