Moa Morph despawns all Necromancer Minions, but does not kill all Engineer Turrets, Ranger Spirits, Guardian Weapons, or Elementalist Elementals.

lol whut. Turrets can’t be despawned even when engineers are killed. they are auto-attack units that despawn on their own (Supply Drop elite skill) or take enough damage to be destroyed. Other than that, engineers can either overcharge them, detonate them or pick them back up. They are not pets or minions.

In other news, Josh is too nice.

It’s been 5 months since this report and this still hasn’t been fixed.

And if I remember right this “bug” was introduced near release!

Necromancers would summon minions underwater and hop on ground with different skills to keep Utility Skills (signets etc.) in addition to their Minions.

This “bug” was intentionally introduced as a temporary measure.
Switching out your skill slots was changed to destroy minions.

As an unfortunate and unintended side-effect Transformations were changed to destroy minions as well.

Yet to this day it has not been fixed.
I understand that fixing bugs takes time, but when a bug that has a severe impact on game balance has been around for over a year…

Well, as much as I like Anet I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed about this.

Don’t bump… or it will be removed like all other necro bug posts ^^
But yeah, yet “another necro bug that will turn into a feature..”

54 infractions and counting because a moderator doesn’t understand a joke when he/she sees it.

Probably because engineers are getting an aoe Moa skill with only 30s cooldown.

This. And this post shows that they know about this issue and it has been well over a year now.

you shouldn’t assume that such a skill you saw previewed to you from the most work in progress profession they showed off will actually be a 30 sec cd aoe moa morph. what you should do is assume it IS work in progress and all subject to change especially the numbers and that the patch will also address the issue of necros losing their minions from being transformed. if(and when) they add new morphs to the game that continue to break necro minions then it would be appropriate to necro this thread

It’s appropriate with one… Adding more is just another slap to the face. That is happens at all is absurd.

How can Moa Morph affect guild missions or fractals, in the way described here? It’s a player mesmer skill applied to opponents.
