So it’s the third time this month I’ve completed the monthly achivement just to have it reset the next day… is there anyone who have simular issues?
I know they reset it once early on the month to solve some issue with last month not resetting properly for some people but seriously?
It’s bloody annoying to be honest, sure I get swamped with mystic coins, but at the same time I’m unvillingly exploiting a major issue with the repetable achivements as it is now and I’d like to get it sorted out somehow cause frankly… I do enjoy WvW, I farm events for karma, I salvage -everything- for mats, and getting the survivor aint really hard and I’d hate getting banned or something cause I play the game -.-’

Send a ticket with pictures to support, sounds like a serious issue. I have not had this problem myself.

I have this finished… it never reset for me, however, I feel like you should send a bug report. It tends to be that only very common problems on the forums (with lots of views and comments,) are the ones that are typically reviewed by the staff on here. Unless you’re lucky and have them read over your title and they take interest in it.

Consider what your title says. It doesn’t really explain the problem.

You should definitely send a bug report, this post will be buried 12 pages deep in 24 hours and it might take a while to spot. Make sure you’re clear with the bug report title. e.g. “Monthly rewards awarded to me every day” ought to get attention. It might even be worth editing your thread title on the forums too.

At a glance at the current title, I might assume this thread is another thread complaining that experience survivor resets when you log out or change instances. That’s the biggest reported ‘monthly achievement’ problem that happens over and over again.

If you have reported a bug and posted a thread, they ought to not ban you for ‘exploiting’ it. It’s not as if you have any control over the fact your monthly seems to award every day.

I could have had the same problem, but I’m not sure.

I completed the monthly achievement a few days after release, since it was released in August I assumed that it had now changed to September (as the achievement tab states)

But I strictly remember failing my survivor achievement at 99’800/100’000 on the 5th of Sept (It was a really bad day overall…that’s why I remember) but I didn’t think more of it.

I haven’t finished my second monthly yet so I can’t say for sure that it reset mid-month for me.

I had some issues with the monthly survivor bugging at first as well, counting “downed” as “died” and resetting, crashed and died to a single spider at 5% health etc but now I can get that 100k needed with a few craftings which is fairly fast done, or just a single dungeon run since the end reward is 177k xp for me. But since I got it completed the first time I’ve never had any issue with it bugging out, just have this reset the day after I reach 100%

I finished the monthly for September about a week ago. Today I find that it’s reset back to 0, and only what I’ve done today has been credited.

Seems to be a not uncommon occurrence. Not that I mind getting to earn the pointless reward again if I so desire.

The reward is far from pointless though since the coins are used in quite a few legendary recepies and other mystic forge crafting…. the only source of getting these coins seem to be daily and monthly achivement rewards which seem to suggest they should be fairly “hard” to get since you’re efficiently limited to around 50/month normally assuming you dont buy them of the TP, however this month I’m rapidly approaching my 4th monthly reward bringing that number up to 80 (without cointing the daily rewards which is another 19 for this month) putting me at 100 coins for september, which is why I’ve bugged it 3 times? now and made this topic as well, but I dont think it’ll get much attention from the devs
