I’m the opposite, my August monthly achievement was stuck at 93% due to the ‘Experience Survivor’ bug. It reset for September on August 31st (for some reason) and I was robbed of the chest.

I have since made a support ticket for the issue, I was pretty gutted when that happened given the amount of time I put in.

Guild Wars 2 uses UTC as its timezone, so the day flips over at midnight UTC, which is 8:00PM Eastern, and 5:00PM Pacific, so depending on where you’re located, that’s why it reset when it was still August 31st for you. This site is pretty handy to keep tabs on when the daily (and monthly) achievements will roll over to the next day.

The survivor wonkiness has been well documented and is another bug entirely – a lot of factors are affecting it, not just deaths (like leaving zones via waypoints, disconnecting or logging out – the only surefire way to get it is to get 100k experience in one crafting session, it seems!). It sucks you missed out on the August monthly, hopefully everybody’s bugs will be sorted before the end of September.

it seems that I am also having the same error. I completed the August monthly on the 29th and it still has not reset.

I have my suspicions that it didn’t reset if you were logged on at the time of achievements rolling over to September.

My friend and I were both on at the time of rollover, both 100% complete – her achievement was for September and all progress had been reset when we checked next (within an hour of rollover), mine was for September but hadn’t been reset.

Perhaps it has to do with those who preordered and had the 3 day head start? Just curious for those of you, like myself, who are having this issue: Did you have the 3 day head start from preorder? For those of you who have friends that did and friends that did not reset — can you check with them to see as well?

I know 2 other people who did not have achievements reset and they were all 3 day head start. The 1 person in my guild who claims his reset properly was not in the head start.

Just incase it helps to track this down at all:

I did the digial pre order from Amazon.com (standard edition, not collectors edition), received the 3 day head start, and completed the achievement on August 30th

(Anet – if you want a specific time, look through my chat history, the moment I got the 100% monthly achievement I commented on it in guild chat – I am sure searching your chat logs for my account for the term “monthly” can’t return more than 4-5 matches. Should be easy to see the exact time of completion.)

We both got it on August 31st, mine came around 1PM Eastern, she got 100% maybe an hour later, but both of us finished well before the rollover time.

Same for me, really frustrating, I earned it on the 30th of august and now it says 100% september.

Just adding my voice. I have also not had mine reset. I don’t care since I didn’t complete it, but it should be addressed so that monthlies properly update from here on out.

Yeah, I also got the no reset thing…. Any news on what is up with this, and when can we expect for it to be fixed?

There is a bug, but is resetting one a bug? Or not resetting a bug?
Could ANet give an official reply and how they solve such unfairness?

“Some players’ monthly achievements didn’t correctly reset on September 1 at 00:00 GMT. To allow those players to collect the next monthly reward, we will reset the monthly achievement of any player who is already at 100% for the month as of tomorrow night’s update.”

Well we are getting it reset it seems, but also this means they are giving anyone who did August, and also September a third set of monthly achievements over 2 months..

Since it’s been a week already in September surely a lot of the ones who got reset properly already did get 100% for September.

I am exactly the same as you. My Experience Survivor is stuck at 81,964 and has been since August. I just checked now and my monthly achievement has still not hit 100% even after lastnights update.

Only thing I have left to do is the Experience Survivor.

it’s not stuck at 81k technically, it just shows the highest you obtained before the tracker reset due to dying. Well with the bugs to it, due to dying or changing zone/instance or relogging.

Same problem here. Completed for August before alot of my friends, they finished it later that day. Next day September 1st they had their achievement reset my still on 100% with no reset Posted a ticket 3 days in a row after that.

It is tomorrows update, or the update later tonight now. Which is pretty dumb as that gives everyone who got reset properly even more time to get their September done in time to already get a third round of monthly rewards…
