I know there is a stickied thread, but I don’t think it is getting any attention since it is for a closed issue from launch.

Many people on my server (Yak’s Bend) are unable to enter Ascalonian Catacombs (either mode) more than once. I can’t tell how to get it to reset exactly. Some people have reported logging out/in works for them. For me I have to delete my local.dat, and even then it doesn’t always work.

Symptoms are like this:

First time entering the dungeon? No issue.

When you leave the dungeon, you are greeted with the “enter story mode?” prompt without trying to walk into dungeon.

Whenever you log in and are zoned into the plains of ashford this popup is always there (this popup never mentions explorable mode).

Clicking “enter” doesn’t do anything. Then walking into the portal will not always give popup, but when it does the button does nothing but close the dialog.

This is a huge issue and needs to be looked at. I haven’t seen any talk of this on the forums outside of that outdated sticky thread, so I figured I’d bring this to the dev’s attention. Sorry if you’re looking at that old thread, feel free to move this there. But any communication would be greatly appreciated.

I was in a party tonight that was experiencing these issues. We tried numerous ways to get the entire party into the instance but couldn’t get everyone together. 3 of us (2 on yaks, and one on henge) could get in together, but of the remaining 2, we tried 4 different people all from yaks and they couldn’t get in. I can’t say what steps they tried to get in, but nothing they tried worked.

The number of posts in the existing thread is growing. I don’t think they’re being seen though.

I had a problem with this last night. I got in once but my party didn’t show up in the entrance room (and they entered too) so I left and wasn’t able to get back in. I tried logging out and back in and tried to get back in the dungeon. I got the enter story mode prompt when I wasn’t even near the entrance, clicked enter dungeon and nothing happened. Went up to the entrance, same prompt showed up, clicked enter dungeon and still nothing happened. So I kept trying for about an hour hoping for something different to happen but it never did. I was also talking to a few other people and they said that it seems that its only on Yak’s Bend that this is happening. Not too sure if that’s true or not, but I hope it gets fixed soon.
