Guild Wars 2

I went with my main character to Mount Maelstrome and it freeze on loading …and i cant do anyting …i exit ..log in and again it doesn’t get past the loading screen …..my lvl 71 character is stuck in loading each time i log him in ….need a GM to port him out of the zone if they cant fix the zone so i can enter it .

I cant play at all since it gets stuck the loading screen when i log the character.

Jumped to waypoint in Mount Maelstrom with my elementalist, but it was loading few minutes, so I closed the game and restart it. It did not help, character still loading and loading.
Tried do go to Mount Maelstrom with another character and it stucks same way.
Please, help.

I have the same problem at this moment. Got 2 characters that are in Mount Maelstrom, can’t get into the zone with both

Same problem with my warrior Walezbani in character select scren shows thats he have 0% world complet but normal he heave 100%.

I have same problem, please help. Also in login screen it is showed 0% of map exploration insted 100%.

Same here. Hopefully will be fixed as a patch is coming very soon anyway. I am concerned about one thing though and that my 100% Map Completion on my main character seems to have been wiped.

I guested Jade Sea [FR] and it solved the issue and got 100% Map Completion back.

I have the same issue, I completed the story quest there and when loading back to MM it got stuck! When looking at my character on the login screen it says he has zero % map completion

Yeah, penelopehannibal take the point. I guested in Jade Sea and there i travelled to hoelbrak. Logout and in the home server I logged in Hoelbrak. Thanks

Hah, my friend had this problem and he told me the current waypoint he’s stuck on..I was like okay let’s try boom I’m stuck too, fix please.

I am having the same issue entering Mount Maelstrom from Sparkfly Fen. Been on the loading screen for about 10 minutes now. I also have 0% Map completion on this character on the character select screen.

We’re all in the same boat!

Here’s hoping that it doesn’t take as long as with the battle for Lion’s Arch update (sat up until midnight for that one before I gave up)
I thought after reading this “Well I can’t play with my Ranger so let me play on my Thief” guess where I parked him…

If you want to fix it try guesting on other servers ( I ‘m playing on Seafarer’s Rest, after setting guesting to Baruch Bay (SP) I can play like nothing happened )

Same problem. Completed CoE and after leaving the dungeon I got stuck in loading screen. Other characters in different areas work just fine. Ticket submitted.

edit: Guesting to other server solved the problem!

Fixed, but when I tryed to connect with my home world, i have stuck again..

I have no problems anymore, used the guesting feature with 1 character and got into MM. Mapchat indicates that people are getting back in now. My 2nd character did load into MM right away without having to guest.

edit: i used guesting to Gunnar’s Hold server.

Problem solved by guesting Jade Sea and leaving location Mount Maelstrom.

Guesting Ring of Fire didn’t help.

I’ve experienced it in MM just now. Guesting solves the issue. Also had the same problem a few days ago on another character in Lion’s Arch. Same freeze on loading followed by client lost connexion to server, same workaround, guesting. I’m on Blackgate.

This isn’t just an issue dedicated to Mount Maelstrom, this is happening to numerous maps including (but perhaps not limited to) Queensdale, Kessex Hills, Lornar’s Pass, Gendarran Fields as well as Fields of Ruin.

How I know this? I’ve been fortunate enough (for once) to not have a Guild Wars bug associated with this one. My friends and guild mates, however, have been having this issue with the above maps. Because of this, guild missions in particular becomes increasingly difficult to organize when taking these maps into factor.

This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Edit: I should also mention that most of these friends and guildies come from Tarnished Coast. Guesting has not been successful as of late either.

Can’t seem to log into Mount Mealstrom map, and have a character stuck there now :/

Also have the bug where the 100% map completion for that character is now set to 0. Same problem occurred on different computer in the house with a family member playing her account.

This can still be fixed by guesting to another server don’t know why but they need to fix this bug!!!!
