I have replaced my graphics card today morning and except the much better FPS in game I also noticed that my mouse pointer became huge. It seems to be 3-5x bigger than before. Now it’s distracting me and looks and very pixelated. Is there any way I can make it small again?

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?

Yes, I have the same problem with older drivers and the newest drivers. I have also checked other games and everything is fine, this mouse pointer is the only bug I have.

Maybe try adjusting the options in your mouse controls window? Not sure.

You can try over in Tech Support, or if all else fails, submit a Tech Support ticket. Good luck. =)

As Inculpatus said, try making sure you have mouse trails off in the the control panel and try toggling the mouse shadow options.

When trails are on, the pointer in GW2 become completely invisible. With shadows off the pointer become large outside of the game as well.

I did some research and it appears that this problem seems to happen for HD7790 and RX290 cards, howerver people update their BIOS, try all types of graphic drivers and the problem still exists.

Edit: Problem solved, replacing the HDMI cable with DVI-D cable fixed this large pointer bug for me.
