I paid gems for the miniature snow owl and his companions a while back. Yesterday, after finishing a zone of map completion I got him out of a black lion chest using the reward key. What? As bad as that is it got worse… Today after another zone, I got 2 more copies of him at once! What is this?! This shouldn’t even be in the black lion chests. They are account bound on acquire so getting 3 extras does nothing for me at all. It’s worse than a kill-streak xp booster on an account that has all 80’s. At least the booster can be converted to something more useful like magic find or karma. But this bird I can’t sell or even give away to a friend. To get 2 at once just felt like a slap in the face. So now I am thoroughly vexed and feel like my gem purchase isn’t appreciated and my time playing the game as designed is wasted. If bound items are going to continue being put into the black lion chest, then put in code that checks for whether the account even has that item – if said item has already been acquired then it should be excluded from the loot table for that account. That’s probably a lot harder than just removing the bird. Give me 2 or 3 transmutation charges instead please.
