Guild Wars 2

So a while ago, maybe about a month ago, I had a problem when starting the game where I wouldn’t be able to click or use any of the keys. If I was really fast, I might’ve been able to click a character to play, but once I was loaded in, I couldn’t do anything. I could only close the game by tabbing out and ending the process. I think I was able to remedy this by doing the repair thing, but only for a single time. So every time I wanted to start the game, I had to repair it.

I have since fixed that problem by reinstalling the game, but now have a new problem, also on startup. Now it just crashes as soon as I hit play. It opens a blank window and looks like it would load, but immediately disappears. Sometimes, if I try to start the game repeatedly, it would stay open, but stop responding and would have to be closed by force. This can also be remedied by repairing it, but I have to do it every single time, and it can take upwards of 10 minutes.

Is there a specific thing causing this problem? Does it happen to anyone else?

I was hoping to get a response from players that have also experienced the problem, and may have also fixed it. It might even be faster than submitting a ticket and wouldn’t bog down ANet’s support team. But sure, why not. You’re very helpful.
