Stuck at this objective – target area highlighted in green, but no waves of enemies have appeared. Help?

I also just experienced this bug just now on my ranger. There was one wave of two Inquest that came but no other followed and the quest is not progressing.

Just experienced this bug as well. A single wave comes and im stuck

I’m having this issue too… I picked up the boxes accidentally while in the middle of fighting enemies already and trying to pick up their drops… Now Im permanently stuck there. No green circles or objectives… just checked off “clear out the inquest” and “secure explosives”.

I’m surprised that a 2 years old bug is not fixed yet. I pressed F during the fights with the Inquests and now the boxes are gone for good.

2 year old bug, huh? It’s 4 years now. Amazing that this is still not fixed. This is a main story quest, guys.

also just got this bug after the first wave. please for the love of god, fix it!
