Guild Wars 2

Is this something overlooked by ANet?
I have 2 thieves (male and female) and the 2nd one I just advanced didn’t get a staff. I unlocked ability to wield a staff and I even bought one with my own gold. But I can’t equip it! What the hell??
I also have 2 Beresekers and I suspect the 2nd advanced has the same problem because she also didn’t get a new weapon.

People with many characters, did you have similar problems?

You won’t get another weapon. That is an achievement reward and you only get the achievement once. You need to go to your last trait line and make sure it has daredevil in it.

Thanks for help! Now I can equip. Haven’t thought I have to “unlock” it like that.
