I transmute my staff ascended to the skin of arah and it goes exotic now … why? i dont have ascended wep now .. help somehow? thanks

You might have accidentally transferred the ascended stats to the exotic stats

what i did was , i had the ascended one in another char, then i transmute to a white one with lower stats, and same it was ascended then i transmute to a exotic staff arah, choose the skin arah with ascended stats and became exotic

That is missing a step. You have had to use a transmutation splitter.
