There seems to be a bug that often makes my Charr scream like she’s failling to her death when I do a normal jump. It’s such a long scream that she’ll usually be back on the floor by the time it even starts. Worse yet, a lot of the time it sounds like a MALE screaming! O_o

Anyone else getting this? For some reason it seems to be worse on my Hunter than my Necro or Warrior… but I guess I might be jumping with her more? It’s driving me a bit nuts.

I’m getting it too. Makes the charr seem afraid of small heights. But it definitely seems to be a bug of flavours.

its fun doing a jumping puzzle and having a mini heart attack whenever i make the jump but the voice screams like its falling just scary !

I also get this bug. It is both amusing and slightly annoying at the same time!

Sometimes I do get normal grunt when jumping, but most of the times “falling to death” sound is played even if negligible damage is taken.

I really wish this, firstly, never happened unless I’m taking fall damage. And a significant percentage of my health at that. Secondly, it shouldn’t happen too often within short time window like in jumping puzzles.

Yeah this bug is really silly. Just standing on the spot and jumping up and down sets it off sometimes. :P Is it just Charr? I thought everyone had it.

I love this bug, personally.

It results in “Did your charr just die or—oh, right. She’s being a drama queen again.” over voice.

It’ll get fixed. And I’ll miss it.

Lol yeah mine does that too, he always roaring when i do it, its funny. I don’t mind it at all. Weird part is, it doesn’t do that for everyone, some of my friends can he my character always screaming but there’s don’t and they roll charrs too.

It’s character height related, isn’t it? Huh. …hahaha. Omigosh. That’s funny if they made the goof up I think they have.

Gravity is the Charr’s only natural predator.

I love it personally.. like a battle roar.. i jump all the time when using my engineers flamethrower.. makes me feel cooler.. ROOOOOOOOOOAR!

I thought this shout was your Signet of Rage coming off cooldown and giving you the passive adrenaline regen buff.

Yeah, after playing my other characters it seems especially obvious. The Charr seem terrified of falling even fairly short distances.

She’s still screaming, even after she’s hit the ground (with no damage) and is running along again in that magnificent quadrupedal stride.

I find the scream hilarious. Though I haven’t played my Charr much yet.

Haha! I hadn’t even considered that!

I’ve been playing a lot of my Charr necro recently and thought they might have fixed this as she wasn’t screaming at all. But then I came back to my Charr ranger and she’s yelling all the time.

Have this problem too, on a charr ranger.

This has been happening on my Charr Guardian a lot too. It is really starting to get irritating TBH :P.

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I’d like to add that my Female Charr Engineer goes mental whenever I use a rifles jumping ability (I forget the name) and seems to rattle off about 5 different attack cries at once.
Anyone else get this?
