Q:
Hello,
As the title says.. my game keeps shutting down my computer ;-;
and i have no idea why. I’ve removed the game and put it back.
My computer does get warm.. however shouldn’t be an issue o.o ( i can run star dew valley and other steam games i have fine)
I also repaired my windows 10. That didn’t help.
If anyone at all has some suggestions, leave a message here thank you for reading! ^^

Have you recently upgraded anything in your PC as far as hardware goes?
Have you cleared out any dust from inside your PC?
Star dew valley doesn’t look like the most demanding game. Do you have anything that stresses the CPU and GPU more? If not, you can run Prime95 and Furmark as stress tests.

When you say it’s shutting it down, do you mean you crash to desktop? Freezing windows and requiring reboot? Or completely powering down your PC?
@onevstheworld: no i don’t will try the stress test . Just completely shuts down. no errors nothing. (weird huh?).
@ayrilana: yes all my hardware is up to date

I meant have you added any new components recently to your PC. Sometimes people upgrade their video card but their power supply cannot handle it. When there’s a heavy load from a game, it shuts down their computer.
You might want to check the Windows event logs to see the reason for the shutdown.
Complete shutdowns without a preceding error sounds suspicious of some sort of power delivery problem – i.e. when under load your system isn’t getting enough power. If that’s the case, the stress tests should cause a similar symptom.
I’m guessing you didn’t upgrade CPU or GPU recently, both those are fairly old parts… I doubt you could even buy them anymore. Even if you didn’t upgrade you GPU, a PSU or MB can degrade and fail. What PSU do you have? PSUs tend to fail more often… there are plenty of cheapskate PSUs out there, whereas the dodgiest MB makers are long gone.
Easiest/cheapest thing is to first check all your external and internal connections in case something has come lose.
