So i dont know what happened but the point is that my character gained red color all over his body , but when i log out and see him in the character select he is only black and white like i made it but everytime i log ingame he has that ugly red

You may have corrupted file(s). Or your graphics drivers may need updating.

You can try a -repair of the client for corrupted files. Top of Page – Support – Search (Repair).

You would get graphics driver updates from your graphics card manufacturer.

Or………..It’s night-time and you chose the color red for your Sylvari’s glow? (Not sure if your picture is showing the ‘ugly red’ or what your character is supposed to look like…lol.)

I’m pretty sure that is just the glow effect. When you create the character you have to toggle the light button to see the glow effect on sylvari

Yeah. I’m thinking new player, and unfamiliar with Sylvari glow, now that I read the post, again.

It’s normal, OP. If you don’t like the red glow at night, you can remake your character, or acquire a Full Makeover Kit.

Hehe, although it would depend on the armor. Cultural armors do have glow parts too. I have a sylvari with cultural armor and parts of it glows at night too.
