I tried to waypoint to the traders forum point in Lions Arch. I get there but soon after I disconnect and when I reconnect, I end up where I started from with a message saying the waypoint I was trying to get to is now contested. Not sure if anyone else has had this happen.
I’ve also been experiencing very frequent disconnects, even just idling in LA, messaging people. I can get disconnected every 30s or less, its unplayable
Same here, everytime I go to Lion’s Arch after the patch, I disconnect after a few seconds. When I try to reconnect, the loading screen changes between Lion’s Arch and the area I was before teleporting. As if the game can’t decide where to send me.. I have disconnected 3 times now and all 3 I didn’t manage to stay on the map more than 10 seconds. Please do something about it, enjoying your new update presupposes we are able to play….

Yeah happened to me just now, I find it a tad bit interesting.

I’m getting some mad disconnection relevant to this. It started as longer intervals, now they’re shorter and I can’t even get the time to explain to my guild what’s going on.
In LA/Tarnished: getting randomly returned to character select screen (as if I pressed [F12] and change character). Happened 5x in under five minutes, so I’m staying logged out for a while.
edit: this note shouldn’t have been merged. I wasn’t using the mystic forge & I didn’t discount — I was sent to the character selection screen, but still logged into the game. I just couldn’t do more than type a sentence or move to a new area before getting [F12]’d. No error message.

I have 4/5 daily categories completed and when I complete my mystic forge daily item my client crashes and my inventory reverts to before I started using the forge. I tried in Lions Arch and our WvW Bl.
Thank you for the reports, everyone. I believe this is an issue we’re aware of and working on, but to confirm, please post the error code you’re receiving on DC.
To expand on this: It causes a zone wide crash and rollback including character position, gold, experience, items, etc. It’s only been tested on the overflow but the pattern is very consistent.
I had same issue, and rolled back over good mf gamble outcome.. now I am in lost can you do a general roll back at least so we can get back our goods before everything happend.
I traveled to lions arch from the heart of the mists and my client “loses the connection”. when i get back on, all i see is complaint about dc and small rollbacks which i am experiancing myself. it seems to only be in LA as i was fine on other maps. the dc occurs while i am moving it seems as i dc right away when running but so far since i logged on and havent moved, i stay connected for a longer period of time but still eventually dc. time span is anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute of connection until disconnection occurs.
theres the code also it took me back to rata sum when i logged off ive tried it many times so far ive lost about 30s since it costs 3s per travel… please fix
also, a weird thing i am experiencing when i load back in, is that the loading screens switch back and forth from the “Heart of the Mists” screen and the “Lion’s Arch” screen. ive never seen that before but im guessing that could be because of the rollback im having
No issues with DC while in various zones until i go to LA. I’ve now disconnected 4 times while walking around in LA.

After second patch can not stay logged in keeps getting same error code from above post’s…. can not use another port can not use forge or WvW … can not stayed loged in more than a 30 sec. if i am lucky please help we want to play!

what about ppl like me who have been micro rolled backed on good mf gamble outcome… I feel like kitten now really hopefully it wasn’t a precursor or i would have cry my tears out
I just feel sorry for old Dotty the retired trolley dolley who gets drafted back in on Patch days to do the Patch Notes admin… needs 3 months off again afterwards with a giant jar of Kalma Pills to settle the nerves.
My actions from the first two launches are from memory since I wasn’t in “beta test” mode yet. I may (or may not) have Alt-Tabbed back and forth at any point in the first two attempts — I don’t remember. If it makes any difference, I have uncollected TP earning.
First launch today, picked up major content download.
Was able to auth with login server from launcher while download proceeded; no newsfeed.
On d/l completion, client got to character select.
Tried to select a human warrior 80 toon who was in LA.
Client exited back to launcher from LA splash.
Launcher immediately downloaded more (hotfix?) and restarted.
Second launch (automatically initiated after apparent hotfix download)
Auth with login was successful; no newsfeed.
Selected same toon, got to NSP LA overflow.
Got F&F part 2 letter; read and deleted.
Expanded new Daily Task at top right.
Selected “More…” from DT, got Daily Achiev panel on char screen.
(At roughtly this point got Help pop up for new top right DT.)
Looked at new Daily and new Monthly achievements panels in chararcter screen.
Roughly at this point got Help pop up for configuring DT/MT checkboxes.
Shortly after, client d/c back to select screen (didn’t note code, sorry).
Selected same toon again; CTD from LA splash and filed a crash report.
Came to Bug forums.
Third attempt
Manually re-started launcher.
Auth with login successful; no newsfeed.
Started client.
Selected same Human Warrior 80 LA toon again.
Got to NSP LA overflow.
Got F&F part 2 letter again; read and deleted again.
Opened map to try to get out of LA.
D/c again back to character select code 7:11:3:189:101.
Select Sylvari Necro 32 toon in Kessex Hills, NSP.
Client exited to launcher from Kessex splash.
Launcher again apparently loaded a small amount of data.
Launcher restarted.
Fourth Attempt (automatic launcher restart after download)
Auth with login successful; no newsfeed.
Selected Norn Guardian 39 toon in Hoelbrak, NSP server.
Received F&F part 2 mail, but did not open email dialogue.
Able to see other PCs running about. (In LA I didn’t see anyone, but I was standing at Armoursmith station, so that isn’t unusual in and of itself.)
Moved around. Various alt-tab back and forth to browser to write this up.
Asked in Hoelbrak map chat if anyone else was having d/c problems.
One respondent in five minutes reporting “3-4 times over the past few hours”.
