so after this patch, they have the correct fixed number of explorable areas, which I happen to have all of: 175/175 Kryta, 60/60 Orr, 165/165 Maguuma, 172/172 Shiverpeak and 179/179 Ascalon
except, the “Been There, Done That” achievement still says 98% on the character screen and 97% on the achievement

The achievements track progress across all characters, not a specific character. World explorer (Been there, Done that!) is character specific.

Check each zone (Metrica Province, Queensdale, Straits of Devastation, etc) to make sure each zone is 100% complete. Also, make sure that all towns (Divinity’s Reach, Lion’s Arch) are 100% complete. I believe WvW 100% complete (four maps – all three borderlands and the eternal battlegrounds) must be completed to receive full world explorer.

yes, this is all on one character
e: i had these numbers before i created my alts and it showed the 98% 97% numbers before the patch

“Been There, Done That” is based on exploring areas, not world completion for pois, vistas, etc. I’ve had 100% world completion since September 3rd

Yes SnowZone, I have had world completion a long time too, I had most areas found, so when update came I am only missing 3 areas to find in the whole world, yet my Been There, Done That still says 97%, I have a hard time believeing 3 areas is 3% of the map.

Going to have to follow this thread and hope we get a red reply here, I do not dare finish my other exploration achievements before Been There, Done That is fixed. :p
