Guild Wars 2

The two lionguard that stand near where the bank used to be will throw the player back about 600 range if you go at them straight on. This happens almost every time I approach them face on (doesn’t happen when you approach from the side). Is this intentional?

I assumed they were trying to keep you away from all the money laying around from the breach in the bank vault.

You mean the money that would have logically vanished 2 weeks ago when there were no lionguard around? I mean, come on, a miasma event would happen INSIDE THE BANK. Even aside from that, players already would have robbed it clean if they could.

I guess they didn’t, as it is sitting there, plain to see. It’s fantasy, rather than a sim, I guess, lol.

If there is a bug, I would imagine it’s that you can get around the bounce-back from the side. =)

I can’t recall how it was during the attack, it the coffer was empty or not. But taking the current situation, where you can clearly see a lot of coins laying around inside it, it makes all sense that Lionguards would throw you away if you try to approach it :P So, thinking this way I think it’s totally intentional, even though it may not make much sense based on the previous happenings from the previous patch lol.
